Willow Street Dental was established in 1970. We place a high emphasis on prevention and patient education, building close relationships with our patients.

Our approach

We work with you to help achieve and maintain good dental health, employing hygienists, whose service we feel is essential within a modern practice.

We believe in continuity of care. Wherever possible we book you with the same dentist on each visit, so that you can get to know them and they can get to know you — something that matters especially to patients who feel nervous about dental treatment.

Allen Roberts, dentist and partner at Willow Street Dental

Allen Roberts

Allen Roberts has been a partner at Willow Street Dental since 1987, having qualified from Bristol University in 1981. After graduating, he worked in practices in Manchester and Llangollen before returning to Oswestry.

A member of the British Dental Association, Allen has completed the Branemark Implant Foundation Course and the Straight Wire Orthodontic course. Educated at Oswestry Boys High School, he lives locally and is well known within the community.

Allen is married with three children. He is a keen cyclist.

Shaun Roddis, dentist at Willow Street Dental

Shaun Roddis

Shaun graduated from Manchester University in 2008 and completed his vocational training in North Wales. He then worked at Cardiff Dental Hospital, in specialist restorative clinics and in a community setting treating children, many of whom were anxious about dental treatment.

In 2010 he gained membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Shaun then spent a year as a Senior House Officer in Maxillofacial Surgery, focusing on oral surgery.

Shaun enjoys spending time with his growing family and when he gets spare time keeping fit in the gym, playing golf and cycling.

As well as the dentists, our team consists of experienced dental hygienists and a friendly nursing and reception team. We want to provide a positive patient experience, and our team support us in achieving this.
